Presentation at Hunting Ridge Prebyterian Church and Fred Start Church

Discussion Topic: Why it’s good to be used by our LORD …what a privilege!

✦My background in mental health and background on Jayson’s story and reminders of what occurred prior to the birth and how it shook our congregation in 2014
✦We should grow through the storm NOT just go through it
⭒I grew intimately with my relationship with God and learned ways on how to brace up for upcoming storms to come and take control of my thoughts.
⭒I stood and declared God’s word
⭒1 Peter 2 “by His stripes JAYSON is healed”
⭒Job 8:7 “ Although Jayson’s former state was ordinary, Jayson’s future will be extraordinary” (CEB)
⭒If one can’t stand on God’s promises and His words your mind will be filled with fear, despair, anxiety, worry, hopelessness, doubt and so many other spirits that allow the enemy to take control.
⭒Through this storm, I also had to find a way to cheer up!
⭒I had to control my attitude and know that the joy of the Lord is Mojoko’s! Understanding this meant that it could be far worse because Jayson’s situation could mean that he could be laid up in some hospital or I could have been struggling with barrenness which then brought me to my last point of.

    ✦Lighten UP!

⭒I had to off load a lot of my personal issues and realize that this journey was Jayson’s and through this I had to surrender and give up/relinquished the power I thought was mine and let GOD do what HE does best and ultimately learned His way was so much better!
⭒I learned patience, humility and learned how merciful our Lord is and ultimately how blessed we are with grace, grace and more grace!
⭒Therefore I asked God to open my eyes of understanding and asked for a revelation and stood on Psalms 119:105 that HIS word would be “a lamp unto my feet and a light unto Mojoko’s path”
