“Out of every test in our lives, we must come on the other side with a testimony to glorify our God! To show others that He is who He says He really is, you must believe. You must let go . You must trust. You must surrender. You must have faith. you must want to follow His will for your life.” – M. J. Wotany

This journey walks you through his difficulties and how his mother navigated through the stages of grief to ultimately accept his diagnosis, though acceptance to her didn’t mean agreeing, it meant, surrendering! This story pours out a mother’s love for her child and her spiritual journey as she seeks God’s presence, His purpose and His will. This book will help you navigate through the emotions that come with an ASD diagnosis and will help answer the questions you have as you and your child walk through this journey. The author hopes to guide you through your stages of grief as you battle with the following questions; Lord why me…..why my child? Now what? What services are available for my child? How can I lean on God’s truth and trust in His plan? Every child is different, but, what can expect?

Join us as we walk through this journey of pain, tears, sadness, peace, joy, trust and ultimately healing. May our Lord and Savior bless each and everyone of us!

Jayson’s Journey

jayson journeyJayson’s journey began at his 18 month appointment with his pediatrician who voiced his concerns about Jayson not meeting certain developmental milestones.  After a battery of tests were done to rule out any hearing impairments or neurologic disorders, we were referred to a pediatric psychiatrist to begin the workup for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  After extensive evaluations, Jayson was diagnosed with ASD …then our journey of ASD began.  Below is a brief timeline of Jayson’s ASD journey.
